Course Overview
Upon conclusion of this module participants will understand the evolution and development of rehabilitation including the laws that were enacted specifically for rehabilitation. Participants will be able to identify the importance of the vocational expert and life care planning. An overview of vocational rehabilitation identifying transferable skills, earning capacities loss, labor (labour) market surveys, and the Americans with Disabilities Act will be presented. The participant will have an understanding and be able to recommend necessary vocational aspects involved in a life care plan.
